The Change in Pakistan. "change" is perhaps one of the most charming words to human nature. We human, get bored or sick of the same thing (minus wives or girlfriends) -- However in regard to Change in Pakistan, the meaning of change is still rhetorical. If the change means, we would become "Europe" overnight if someone comes into power, then I regret that your belief is nothing more than a fantasy.

Without facing and admitting reality we could barely move forward to our destination of progressive, modern and rich in infrastructure Pakistan.

We should know, overall, Pakistan is a third world by and large. Like any other third world country in the region we are economically challenged. I do not see, any third world country around which rolling in cash and each of its citizen driving cars. So there is massive "economic" gap between any third world country and a first world country. Which obviously can not be filled overnight, or even in matter of a decade.

The 2nd most important and vital issue in any third world country is the " Management of resources " - And this is where the leadership of politicians come in handy. Therefore I am always in favor of politicians who are "Entrepreneurs" themselves (Like Nawaz) or at least think on the same line (Musharaff). The reason this country's economic situation gets even worse when PPP is power. Because they have no such background. They are mostly the feudal.

In regard to Imran Khan, he has proven to be a good manager for a non-profit organisation. However countries are much like a "Commercial Corporate Enterprise". You are always fighting to meet your growing needs against the limited resources. And frankly Musharraf was pretty at good that, this was the reason, Economy here was "booming" in his tenure or at least no one feared in the middle class to fell below the poverty line. In regard to Khan, Frankly I can't tell at this stage wether he would be a "better" or "worse" manager for a commercial enterprise.

I am all for a political leader, who would promise a "slow" but steady economic growth in this country no matter if takes 20 or 30 years to get there, rather than 90 days.
